How Do You Decide How Much Time to Purchase?
Generally 15 minutes is a good place to start for basic questions such as puppy biting, jumping or the refinement of basic behaviors.
30 minutes or more is recommended if there are any behavioral issues such as separation anxiety, barking, or aggression.
As you can see, the price drops for purchasing a bigger block of time. It costs $30 for 15 minutes and only $55 for 30 minutes instead of $60. The reason for this is that it takes the same amount of administration time for Jeff to schedule appointments, read the dog training form or watch a video that you supply, regardless of the time purchased. Part of the cost pays for these "prep" tasks which do take time.
Can You Split the Time into Multiple Blocks?
No. If you purchase 45 minutes, for instance, you need to use the entire 45 minutes in one phone call. If you are not sure about how much time to schedule, choose a smaller block of time and add more time later, if needed. Keep in mind, 30-45 minutes can go by very quickly when dealing with behavioral issues. You can save money by purchasing one larger block of time vs. two smaller blocks.
How to Schedule Your Phone Support
- Fill out the Dog Training Form with as much detail as necessary
- Included on the form are spots for your desired times for phone calls and whether you will include a video for Jeff to watch
- Videos ARE NOT required for phone support. If you want to send a video, see the video instructions
- Once Jeff receives the Dog Training Form, he will contact you (generally within 2 business days)
- Scheduling will generally take place within 1-2 weeks. During especially busy times, this could be longer.
- Someone will confirm with you 24-48 hours before the time and date agreed for the phone call
- If you are not available for your phone call, you must contact Jeff within 24 hours of the time and date agreed upon or you will lose your appointment
