Softouch Concepts, Inc., the manufacturer of the SENSE-ible™ harnesses handle all repairs directly at their factory. Simply return the harness to them following the instructions below and they will get your harness back in shape and ship it back to you good as new!
Note: Repairs and alterations are averaging about one week to process and return after receipt.
Repairs
The SENSE-ible™ harnesses are made of webbing that is both strong and "soft" for your dog's comfort. The webbing is capable of withstanding 4,000 pounds but it can be damaged by sharp objects such as, a dog's teeth. Damage from chewing can appear cut or frayed. Dogs can chew the chest strap if not adjusted correctly.
$5.00 (USD) per repaired strap assembly.
(i.e. Chest Straps, Withers Strap or Girth Strap)
Softouch Concepts (the makers of the harnesses) want you to be able to feel confident that your investment will survive and provide the full benefits you expected from the first day of your purchase to the day you feel the need for an "upgrade".
What They Will Do
They will repair your harness to original manufactured condition.
They will replace any damaged hardware on the affected strap.
They will mail (USPS) your harness back to you at no additional charge.
What You Need to Do
Package the harness in a suitable box or bubble mailer (we suggest a bubble-lined mailing envelope).
Include your return address, phone number and any necessary information regarding the repair.
Place your check ($5.00 per damaged strap assembly) inside the package.
Mail or express ship to the address below (we suggest US mail - insured, the cost is usually nominal).
Please note that when we make repairs we will use the same as - or better than original materials for your repair. However, webbing dye color shade variations and feel, for instance, will change slightly from lot to lot. We will make every effort to match materials as close to your harness as we can. As you might expect, we can not provide the same look (color) to match a worn or faded harness.
Alterations
$10.00 (USD) per altered chest strap assembly
Sometimes a custom fit is the best solution for that perfect fit or to fit a breed with a hard to fit shape. Softouchconcepts can alter a harness you send to us or add a $5 charge to a harness you purchase from WatchandTrain.com.
What They Will Do
They will shorten or lengthen a chest strap to your requested length.
They will replace any damaged hardware on the altered straps (usually, we will reuse the hardware).
They will mail (USPS) your harness back to you at no additional charge.
What You Need To Do
Contact Softouchconcepts, Inc. directly and follow these instructions:
Measure your dog - Withers/Girth and Chest. (Withers/Girth confirms the size harness to start with).
Call them at (866) 305-6145 (toll free) to let us know what the alteration is that you need and that you are sending us the harness.
Package the harness in a suitable box or bubble mailer (we suggest a bubble-lined mailing envelope).
Include your return address and any necessary information (measurements) regarding the alteration.
Place your check ($10.00 per altered strap) inside the package.
Mail or express ship to the address below (we suggest US mail - insured, the cost is usually nominal).
